Job/Internship Description


Schneider is seeking a Human Resources Intern who would work as a Compliance Specialist to help coordinate and execute Schneider's I-9 and E-Verify program. I-9 and E-Verify responsibilities include auditing, troubleshooting, monitoring and measuring to ensure Schneider's compliance with legal requirements. Manages personnel files. Performs additional audits, assignments and projects as assigned.

About the role:

  • Audit all new hires' I-9 forms via weekly audits for accuracy and completeness and take action(s) to ensure accurate I-9 on file. Perform additional audit and maintenance as required.
  • Receive, track, audit and store termed personnel files; participate in transition to electronic personnel files as needed.
  • Maintain consistent attendance while exhibiting behavior in alignment with our core values.

Qualifications :

Ideal candidates will have:

  • Be enrolled in a college degree program focusing on Human Resources, Business Administration or Business Management and have completed Freshman year with a cumulative GPA 3.0 or greater
  • Have analytical and organizational skills
  • Have excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Take initiative, be a self-starter, able to work independently, have strong attention to detail
  • Have ability to manage multiple priorities and prioritize workload
