Job Description
Overview

Job Purpose

The Junior Quality Assurance Analyst must be results-oriented, self-motivated and have the ability to thrive in a fast-pace environment. This role requires frequent interaction with project managers, developers, product managers, sometimes sales and helpdesk professionals in order to ensure that we deliver a quality-trading platform to our users.

Responsibilities

  • background in functional testing with the ability to design and develop manual test strategy and test cases.
  • Background in reviewing business and functional requirements in order to produce a test strategy and test cases.
  • Performs all aspects of verification, including functional, structural, regression and system testing.
  • Testing in a multi-tiered-based architecture.
  • Experience participating in all aspects of a full-lifecycle development methodology, and related quality concepts and processes.
  • Performs troubleshooting when needed..
  • Ability to maintain environment(s) for testing.

Knowledge and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Information technology.
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in enterprise application testing (test case development and execution)
  • 2 years' experience with commodity market or a financial trading environment preferred.
  • Ability to build and maintain a QA lab environment.
  • Track record of completing assignments on time with a high degree of quality.
  • Experience and/or knowledge of all aspects of the SDLC methodology and related concepts and practices
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize deliverables based on business, technical, and client needs
  • Ability to set priorities and multi-task in a fast paced environment..
  • Experience with both White Box and Black Box Testing.
  • Knowledge of testing process, testing methodology analysis and defect reporting tools.
  • Ability to work independently and productively under pressure.
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, technical, and troubleshooting skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and decision making ability.
  • Experience in working with Micro Focus ALM/Quality Center, and Jira.

Schedule

This role offers work from home flexibility of 1 day per week.
