Form Energy is an American energy storage company. We are developing a new class of batteries to enable the electric grid to run on clean and reliable energy, every day of the year. Recognized by TIME as one of the “Best Inventions of 2023” and MIT Tech Review as a “Top Climate Tech Company To Watch in 2023”, we are making rapid progress on our mission of creating energy storage systems for a better world – and are growing our team to meet demand.

OUR TECHNOLOGY

To run the electric grid on clean, reliable, and affordable energy, the world will need new technologies capable of storing energy multiple days. Our first commercial product is an iron-air battery capable of storing electricity for 100 hours at system costs competitive with legacy power plants.
