Repairs complex electrical equipment, including automated machines, controls, panels, relays, circuit breakers, communication systems and alarms. Installs electrical equipment with minimal instructions. Diagnoses problems, replaces or repairs parts, and detects and replaces defective control modules. Performs complex wiring assignments. Installs power, light, electronic, and control circuits. Installs, maintains and repairs all HVAC Systems.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

EDUCATION, CERTIFICATION, AND/OR LICENSURE:

1. High School diploma or equivalent.

2. Licensed as an HVAC Technician or Electrician.

EXPERIENCE:

1. Five (5) years' experience as an Electrician or HVAC Technician.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

EDUCATION, CERTIFICATION, AND/OR LICENSURE:

1. Graduate of a trade school or community college course of study related to general facility maintenance.

EXPERIENCE:

1. Ten (10) years' experience as an Electrician or HVAC Technician.

1. Inspects, tests, maintains, repairs and installs electrical and mechanical equipment and systems.

2. Completes work orders and record material utilized on jobs.

3. Performs preventative maintenance activities.

4. Utilizes blueprints, wiring diagrams and manufacturer's installation manuals to complete assigned projects.

5. Performs water testing, maintains chemical levels, and documents results as assigned.

6. Operates water softener system as assigned.

7. Inspects, troubleshoots, and conducts tests and pinpoint problems using a range of testing devices.

8. Safely uses various hand and power tools.

9. Installs new or replacement equipment.

10. Performs routine inspection of facility for safety and disrepair.

11. Inspects current HVAC systems for effectiveness and safety.

12. Performs preventative maintenance on HVAC systems to increase longevity.

13. Troubleshoots current HVAC system issues.

14. Repairs HVAC System

15. Installs conduit, mounts electrical sockets and installs specialized circuits throughout the building.
