MISSION :

  • The Director - Manufacturing at All-Clad Metalcrafters has an overall objective to meet and exceed the Plant's goals and objectives for Safety, Quality and Efficiency.
  • The Director - Manufacturing will be accountable for all areas of production to include safety, quality, production, and inventory management.
  • This position requires a lead-by-example attitude to promote a safe, productive work environment with an emphasis on continuous improvement through communication, mentoring, and leadership.
  • The Director - Manufacturing receives guidelines from the Vice-President of Operations, in regards All-Clad and Groupe SEB Procedures and Policies.

PROFILE:

MAIN PERMANENT GOALS:

  • Specific duties of the Director - Manufacturing include (but are not limited to) the following:
  • Assignment of responsibilities and authority to direct reports to manage all production departments.
  • Assure attainment of business objectives, production schedules and efficient use of labor/equipment while ensuring that quality, product standards and On-time Delivery Targets are met or exceeded.
  • Daily monitoring of the production volume, scrap, rework, efficiency, and quality performance
  • Control processes, procedures, work instructions and all day-to-day documentation necessary to manage and maximize operational performance.
  • Identify, develop, and implement actions needed to continually improve communication, safety, quality and efficiency.
  • Establish group and individual accountabilities throughout assigned departments for problem solving and continuous improvement.
  • Develop, educate, coach, and mentor both Union and Management employees.
  • Maintain constructive relationship with Union Labor representatives and employees.

Experience & Education

  • Bachelors Degree in Business, Engineering, or related field.
  • Master's Degree or MBA preferred or equivalent experience.
  • 10+ years of experience in a similar Manufacturing environment.
  • 3+ years of Leadership/Direct Managerial Experience within a Manufacturing environment.
  • Continuous Improvement experience.
  • Knowledge in Rolling, Stamping or Machining preferred..
  • Working experience in a union environment.
  • Strong Computer Skills.
