Job Overview

This position is responsible as the SME for the creation, development, and implementation of the end-to-end management of all systems related activities for Global Inventory Management initiatives identified for continuous growth strategy established by Sr. Leadership including but not limited to Assemble to Order, Plan for Every Part, and Hard Allocation. This position will be responsible asthe Project Manager to develop, drive, and implement the core strategy ensuring alignment with Global Supply Chain, Operations, Engineering, and Sales and the overall business needs.

Key Job Responsibilities
  • Responsible for business analysis supporting Global Inventory Management (GIM) systems including design, configuration, and global implementation.
  • Execute Global market analysis to optimize inputs necessary to support growth strategy and identify any potential issues associated with GIM initiatives.
  • Identify system issues and provide solutions in conjunction with automating manual supply chain processes to improve velocity and productivity.
  • Assist in managing comprehensive data load and run of models for all regions related to Global Inventory Management (GIM) activities.
  • Manage and audit stocking levels globally associated with Assemble to Order strategy.
  • Develop and conduct training to support corresponding supply chain systems and processes associated with implementation of GIM projects.
  • As an SME, conduct necessary analysis and background research required to create and implement global Power BI reports to support the Assemble to Order strategy.
  • Responsible globally to oversee global opportunity list in conjunction with inventory strategy used to support machine ship date.
  • Responsible for development and implementation of worldwide policies and procedures to ensure effective and efficient operation of all purchasing, materials management, production planning, and supplier management functions.
  • Assist in development and ongoing execution of Plan for Every Part strategy
  • Manage and facilitate activities associated with Hard Allocations including override requests and schedule management.
  • Analyze, develop and deploy global reports and assist/train other users in their reporting needs and as the SME, discern what method of reporting will be required to suit the users' needs and the business.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications/Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in either a technical field, business, or supply chain management.
  • 5-7 years' experience in problem solving and analytical skills in a global inventory market.
  • 3-5 years' experience in facilitation/trainer function in a global inventory management discipline.
  • 2-4 years' experience in effective worldwide implementation of policies and procedures for the inventory management operations.
  • Ability to lead a project team and work autonomously within the Supply Chain/Inventory Management Industry.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficient computer skills - SAP, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Visio, MS Project and Inventory Management systems
  • 3-5 years of leadership experience in the Supply Chain/or global inventory management Industry.
