West Virginia University School of Medicine and the Department of Radiologyseek an abdominal radiologist. (ranks available: Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or Professor). The successful candidate will be expected to practice in Morgantown, WV.
Depending on operational needs, a successful candidate may also be assigned to provide services at additional worksites in West Virginia, Maryland, and Pennsylvania. In such instances, travel would be anticipated and expected to fulfill said duties at these additional sites.
The WVU Department of Radiology sees a variety of complex cases as we are a top referral center in WV and the region. We offer a collegial and engaging environment at WVU with ample opportunity for case collaboration with referring services. The Robert C. Byrd Health Sciences Center has a full complement of academic programs in the clinical and basic sciences. Ample opportunities exist for clinical research.
Duties: The successful candidate will practice in the area of abdominal radiology. In addition to providing excellent patient care, the successful candidate will also be actively involved in teaching medical students, residents, and fellows.
Qualifications: Candidate must have an MD or DO degree or foreign equivalent and be eligible for state medical license. Successful candidate must have completed radiology residency program, as well as abdominal radiology fellowship program. Successful candidates must be board certified / eligible in Radiology. All qualifications must be met by the time of appointment.
