The ESG product line is poised for strong growth over the coming years as leading semiconductor companies are making multi-billion dollar investments to expand manufacturing capacity in the United States and globally. The Morrisville PA plant is expanding its chemical process engineering and technical team to ensure it is well poised for these growth opportunities.

Air Liquide Electronics in Morrisville, PA is looking for a motivated person to join our team as a Distribution Specialist I. This position is an entry level assignment to help us safely and within various compliance requirements, serve our customers with all our distribution needs. This role will challenge the employee with a wide range of responsibilities and there is a focus on future career growth within the company.   • Perform work with the utmost regard for the safety/health of all involved.

  • Understand and comply with all safety standards and regulations while on company or customer property; report any accident, incident or near miss.

  • Understand and comply with the established Quality System; report any deficiencies; stop any plant operation if is it compromising the quality process.

  • Retrieve product from stock areas in order to fulfill orders.

  • Stage cylinders within the plant in preparation for shipment.

  • Prepare cylinders for shipments per Air Liquide policy, DOT regulations and customer specific requirements. Preparation includes, but is not limited to: removing old labels, painting cylinders, overall cylinder and valve inspection/checks, wrapping valve, tagging, labeling/stenciling the cylinder accordingly, bar-code scanning for appropriate Oracle processing, loading/securing on pallets, etc.

  • Assist in loading and unloading containers from trucks.

  • Maintain general work area as per 5S methodology.

  • Prepare shipping paperwork according to Air Liquide policy and DOT regulations.

  • As needed, contact common carriers and Air Liquide locations to coordinate the delivery and pickup of cylinders as well as other materials.

  • Receive incoming products and material on the appropriate logs; inform the proper personnel of receipt.

  • As needed, prepare and arrange pickups of shipments for express service carriers such as Federal Express, UPS, etc.

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.

  • Proficiency in the English language.

  • Good mechanical skills and aptitude.

  • Have a basic knowledge of the properties and characteristics of the products being handled.

  • Be able to accurately perform basic arithmetic calculations.

  • Have a full range of motion and be able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds unassisted.

  • Be able to operate a forklift, jack pallet truck, and other cylinder movement equipment as appropriate.

The hourly rate range for this position in Pennsylvania is $18.00 to $21.00
