Part-time 20 hours per week (non-exempt)

This position will be responsible for providing project and workflow expertise and support in the areas of change management, training, communications, standard operating procedures and end user adoption support for implementation of an enterprise Revenue Cycle Management workflow, applications and services. This includes preparing current and future state documentation, detailed work plans, time lines in order to implement tactical and strategic plans to standardize, hardwire and transform efficient workflow to optimal process flow activating technology/ automation where possible together with department leadership and designated teams.

Performs complex data analysis functions, leading informatics in regards to end user adoption of technology. Conducts needs assessments and makes recommendations based on change management best practices to improve end user adoption of workflow, technology and workflow changes. This position works in collaboration with training, education, department leadership and enterprise support to capture, improve, document and assist with transformation of workflow and business process and is also responsible for end user training and documentation development and delivery.

Essential Duties:

Change Management, Assessment, Documentation, Validation, Testing and Training

  • Assists in the evaluation, documentation of current and future state workflows to test efficiency and effectiveness to transform, hardwire and transition to technology/ automated performance.
  • Understands revenue cycle content, needed outcomes and system navigation to advise optimal workflows.
  • Tests, validates, creates documentation, operating procedures and monitors outcomes of newly created workflows with department team to optimize design.
  • Functions as an active participant on implementation teams; trains on new technologies and new and improved features and functionality, independently addresses end-user adoption issues and proactively resolves them.
  • Develops and delivers training curriculum to support project/ workflow objectives.
  • Acts as a change agent within the organization and motivates end-user adoption.
  • Proactively develops adoption plans, in conjunction with clinicians and project teams; plans will focus on communications, training, coaching, sponsorship and resistance management to ensure 100% user adoption of the new technology and workflow implemented as part UH projects.
  • Collaborates with operational and clinical leaders, senior project coordinators, PMO and others in forming and communicating the vision of positive and necessary change inherent to the implementation of the workflow projects
  • Proactively identifies workflows; logs to central Operations Work Front and helps to prioritize work that needs to be completed.
  • Adheres to strict timelines.
