Key responsibilities for this role include:

* Plans, designs, develops, facilitates, leads, instructs, and evaluates training classes aligned to designated therapeutic area, other US brands, and selling skills.

*Leads and coordinates all business unit training responsibilities, including planning, content development, facilitation, content management, product launch and new hire training responsibilities as the subject matter expert (SME) in partnership with business leaders, brand leaders, and marketing stakeholders.

*Applies instructional design methodology, adult learning principles, and project management expertise when planning, developing, and facilitating initial and continuous learning curricula in partnership with Sales Leadership, Compliance, Legal, Marketing, and Operations.

*Leads and facilitates new hire training session (~ 6 sessions per year plus ad hoc trainings as needed), advanced sales training sessions (~ 5+ sessions per year), and POA meeting workshop content creation and facilitation for Diversified Therapeutics and Rare Disease sales teams in partnership with business leaders, brand leaders, and marketing stakeholders.

*Utilizes knowledge of blended learning modalities (classroom, on-demand, distance learning) to develop continuous learning initiatives (product or selling skill specific) to support the on-going development of generic and branded business units.

*Delivers training via remote technology (ZOOM, TEAMS, etc.) as well as live classroom modalities.

*Continuously seeks to improve the training experience in novel, innovative ways to maximize learner engagement.

*Pro-actively recognizes training gaps and opportunities to gain feedback and develop solutions to advance the program or skill for the organization.

*Presents learning and development solutions to senior business leaders with clear understanding of objectives, cost structure, development and execution process, and estimated delivery timing.

*Evaluates therapeutic area strategy, develops initial and continuous learning curriculum aligned with individual product training, and updates training courses regularly to meet the needs of the sales organization.

*Provides business leaders, brand leaders, and marketing stakeholders with valuable, objective feedback related to training topics and projects that leads to positive training objectives and outcomes, including project limitations or risks.

*Serves as a leader in maintaining and applying current understanding of the Viatris business and regulatory environment, products, customers, sales opportunities, and challenges.

*Functions as a respected member of MARC by fully understanding how to coordinate and manage projects and assets from development to completion.

*Manages vendor relationships in the development of product and skill curriculum, including specific content budget oversight and project management, when needed.

*Provides coaching to sales professionals and sales leadership in training programs, which includes providing feedback to sales and business leadership on representative performance during initial and advanced sales trainings.

*Supports launch readiness by partnering closely with commercial leaders to develop training materials and workshops that align with the launch strategy to prepare the business units to execute at a high level.

*Demonstrate leadership within the team by leading with and without authority, which may include managing direct reports such as interns, managers of training, or training associate titles.

*Offers sales training support across any business unit for product launches, training program execution, sales meetings, etc.

*Performs other duties as directed by the Sr. Director/ Head, North America Sales Training.

The minimum qualifications for this role are:

  • Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) and minimum of 4 years of experience in the pharmaceutical or B2B selling space.
  • Women's Health, Rare Disease, and multiple sclerosis sales experience preferred.
  • Previous corporate training or field sales training experience, with emphasis on adult learning principles, instructional design, and project management skills, is required
  • Microsoft Suite skills (MSWord, Power Point, Excel).
  • Knowledge of blended learning methods, including LMS, digital engagement platforms and distance learning.
  • Experience in teaching technical topics.
  • Familiar with professional selling skills programs.
  • Account Management experience a plus.
  • Polished platform skills, excellent written communication, and experience as group facilitator.
  • Proven leadership in a team environment and ability to collaborate with wide variety of strategic partners as well as work independently.
  • Ability to apply metrics and track key performance indicators to facilitate evidence-based learning strategies.
  • Excellent Cross-Functional Collaboration skills to work inter-departmentally.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills; team player.
  • Travel requirement ~40%.

Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. The salary range for this position is: $95,000.00 - $193,000.00 USD.
