Job Description

Hill International is seeking a Project Engineer in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania

The Project Engineer provides overall support to the Project Management team to deliver multiple healthcare capital construction projects from concept through end user occupancy.


  • Coordinate availability of project team members (internal and external) to schedule project meetings, site visits, walk throughs, etc.
  • Attend project meetings and take notes as appropriate.
  • Assist with monthly schedule updates and forecasting costs to ensure accurate cash flow.
  • Assist with processing purchase orders, contracts, and change orders.
  • Assist with completing all required safety documentation and obtaining appropriate approvals.
  • Review project documents for accuracy and compliance with client requirements.
  • Maintain project document repository.
  • File all project documents in a timely, organized manner.
  • Monitor project progress, take progress photos, and upload to project repository.

  • 0-5 years of experience preferred.
  • Degree in engineering, architecture, construction management or related field.
  • Previous Experience in healthcare is beneficial.
  • Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
