JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Leads the parking services for guests and homeowner vehicles by ensuring that all Bell Valet Staff are following policies and procedures as established for the safe storage of vehicles; this includes noting any damage on vehicles prior to assuming responsibility and inventorying of guest
  • Relays the policies and procedures to team members for the system for parking and retrieving of vehicles by keeping vehicle and other keys in proper locations, allowing easy access for attendants to locate and retrieve guest vehicles, while maintaining security of keys. Ensures vehicles are safe and properly
  • Provides transportation for guests of Allegheny Springs by driving the company's vehicle as provided by the resort's Lodging
  • Provides training for handling of luggage for the guests by unloading guest vehicles, loading luggage, ski and golf equipment and personal belongings of guests onto carts and pushing carts to rooms and lockers for storage of equipment, unloading each in correct locations and helping guests as requested with these
  • Assists all personnel by answering phones and being accessible to the
  • Follow and implements a checklist of daily procedures by logging all necessary information, closing and locking all doors on list at times assigned, maintaining accurate records of location of vehicles and all other duties as assigned by

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
  • Education: High School Diploma or GED
  • Experience: 1 year experience in a Guest service or hospitality related field


QUALIFICATIONS, KNOWLEDGE, SKILL AND ABILITY REQUIREMENTS
  • Applicant is required to have and maintain a valid driver's license with passenger endorsement. Incumbent must participate in a random drug and alcohol testing program.
  • Applicants must have the ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. The position requires the ability to apply common sense and understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS

Any employee or volunteer who operates a company vehicle including cars, trucks, snowcats, snowmobiles, or heavy equipment is required to comply with the Driver's Standards Policy. This policy also applies to employees or volunteers driving their personal vehicles for company business more than four times per month, averaging 30+ miles per trip. All drivers should receive a full copy of the Alterra Driver's Standards Policy; if you have not - please contact your Risk/Safety or HR/EE Department.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORKING CONDITIONS

This position may be required to work evenings, weekends and holidays.

Office Environment:
  • Able to lift, carry, or otherwise move and position a minimum of 20 pounds on an occasional basis.
  • Manual dexterity to operate a computer and other common office equipment on a constant basis.
  • Auditory and visual acuity to operate computers, phones, mobile devices and basic office equipment on a constant basis.
  • Ability to work for extended periods of time sitting, bending, reaching and speaking on a constant basis.
