Role Description

We are looking for a Production Coordinator to support the planning of multiple production lines and supporting Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) needs of the organization. This is a critical role in ensuring that production operations run smoothly, efficiently, and cost-effectively to meet demand (internal and external) and organizational goals. The successful candidate must possess strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills, as well as a keen attention to detail and the ability to adapt to changing circumstances.

This opportunity is based out of the Greater Pittsburgh Area at Form Energy's Eighty Four, PA facility.

What you'll do:
  • Manage a daily/weekly and long term production schedule for multiple lines in alignment with program goals to ensure on-time delivery, optimized inventory levels, and equipment utilization and efficiency.

  • Correctly establish and program ERP functionality as production lines transition from development into mass production

  • Promptly inform relevant stakeholders of changes to current or planned production schedules and recommend viable solutions.

  • Coordinate production operations in accordance with material, labor, and equipment availability

  • Collaborate with Supply Chain, procurement, and warehousing to align on forecast and ensure material availability.

  • Track inventory movements, reconcile inventory discrepancies, and generate reports on inventory levels, turnover rates, and other key metrics.

  • Analyze inventory position vs. requirements and adjust plans accordingly.

  • Promptly inform relevant stakeholders of changes to current or planned production schedules and recommend viable solutions.

  • Identifying opportunities for process improvements and cost savings in the production process. This includes analyzing data, gathering feedback from stakeholders, and implementing changes to enhance efficiency and productivity.

What you'll bring:
  • Degree in supply chain management, business management or similar field or on the job experience in a production environment

  • 2+ years of industry experience with assembly lines, preferably in a high product variation or start-up environment

  • Strong knowledge of material resource planning (MRP) and ERP software (Oracle preferred). * Strong analytical and problem solving skills as well as high attention-to-detail

  • Experience in inventory management and inventory reconciliation

  • Strong communication skills both within the team and with external stakeholders. Ability to convey production output in context of larger program goals to the team and other internal stakeholders

  • Proficient in Microsoft, Google, and other software packages

  • Certified in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM) preferred.

  • Familiarity with labor routers, bill of materials, work orders, and similar production concepts.
